The Print Edition was founded in 2025 by Michael Williams and David Coggins and is published four times a year.

In a world where everything arrives on your phone whether you want it to or not, we wanted to make something you sought out on your own. The Print Edition celebrates an escape from the algorithm and a deeper connection to what’s around us.

MICHAEL WILLIAMS (Publisher) is the founder of A Continuous Lean and the editor of The Old Ghosts. He lives in La Jolla, CA.

DAVID COGGINS (Editor) writes The Contender newsletter and is the author, most recently, of The Believer: A Year In the Fly Fishing Life (Scribner). He lives in New York.

JOHN SEGAL (Art Direction) is a designer, illustrator, and the former creative director of Crane Stationery. He lives on the Upper West Side of New York.
